Anyone know where I can get a shield to go around my GPS to block the glare from the sun? I have seen some on a few bikes but don't know if they were self made or purchased.

I have an automobile GPS I don't remember the model. The shields are sold by screen size.

If you have the ABS plastic & heat gun, should be easy enough to cut yo shape & bend, & or you can try other materials. (Sorry I cant load pics:banghead

I've tried multiple shades. The only thing that helps with glare, is not the shield, it's the position of the sun. Good luck with your hunt for a good gps sun shield.

I have the Glarestomper for my Zumo 660 & it works pretty well. As with any shield, it all depends on the angle of the sun, which somehow always seems to be directly hitting the dash.

GPS shield

I made one out of a plastic food storage container. I cut the container roughly in half (make one piece large enough to go around the GPS) then painted it black. Works to some degree, but if the sun is behind you just keep the GPS in your shadow.
