• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Spyder has finally arrived! I am going to pick it up but need some information so that I can install my Black & Gray Wheel Chocks in the correct position in my trailer. Could someone who has their Spyder, please be kind enough to measure the distance from the front nose to the tread on the front tire about 10" off the ground with the front wheels straight. I am aware of the "track" of the front wheels as being 51.5". Is this from outside to outside of both front wheels or center to center or inside to inside? Any help would certainly be appreciated.
Thank,

I used the Black & Grey model # PC8 for my trailer. Outside to outside of chocks is 66".
Center to center of chocks is 51.25". From front of tires to the front of the storage compartment allow 12".
Hope this helps.

Man, that trailer is SWEEEEEET! Thanks for posting those pics.

$3,900 doesn't sound too bad. I'm gonna have to check that out. I hope the price didn't go up too much!

For anyone that is thinking of ordering one of the Spyder Transports, contact me before placing an order, will give you a few "hints".

For those on a more limited budget... I picked up a 77" x 10' utility trailer with black diamond plate floor and drop axle, then welded up some homemade chocks from rebar. I left 16" from the leading edge of the tires to the trailer front to allow a 3-4" space. Added some left over T-111 siding for a stone guard and voila! Total investment including tax and permanent registration... $1800.
