• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, I have been posting here for some time, all the while trying to do a swap-er-rue with the toys to end up with a Spyder.

It's done!
I brought home Dave's Black Spyder (with the spider on the hood) today.
Dave might have a surprise for some as well but I'll let him tell that part of the story

I met Doc today as well and we had a good "tire kick" at West Coast PS.

I did not get to ride much today as it is sooooo cold here in Florida. It barely hit a high of 70 today and that is just tooo cold to ride very far. (OK I'm kidding and rubing it in to the nice folks up north)
It was soooo cold I could only put 50 miles on it today.:D

I am still hunting the front brake and the nanny is fierce. (I raced 3 wheelers back in the day) It wont let you have any fun:lecturef_smilie:
Overall, though a 9+
Once I get used to the brake a 10:firstplace:

I guess I will have to take a pcture and create an Avatar now

Randy, check the front tire pressure. She has been sitting for over a month. Even a pound or so low and the nanny reacts too much. Yeah, the front brake lever is missing. LOL

that works!

Sounds like the plan came together.
welcome Shrimp!

and :congrats: Dave!

(though that was just plain nasty to remove the handbrake before you sold it)

Will do on the tires. What do you run them at?
Book pressure?? (I have not looked yet) or sidewall pressure??

Congrats

Congrats RShrimp. Glad to hear you got one and oh by the way..... that weather comment sucks...... In the 20's here in St. Louis, MO. Glad you got it out for a ride. Have fun and remember..... You are a rock star! :D

Twenties for highs here in Michigan, too, and we got a foot of snow here in Battle Creek. Better than the East Coast, though. Don't you Florida and California guys worry, the rest of us will get even with you someday for your "weather reports." :roflblack:

lets ride

:2thumbs: welcome:congrats: and by the way you did not tell the truth about it being 70 degrees i live in new smyrna bch and it only hit 69 today :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack:

Congrats Randy. Me and you tried to deal back and forth on my red 09 SE-5 while you were trying to decide what was right for you. So??? Manual or SE? Am sure you will be happy with either.
Also, I have a sister that lives close to you, Bradenton, Fl. When I plan a trip there this summer, maybe we can get a ride up.
Congrats again
