• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got caught in heavy rain with my CHAD

I had to mail something to Magic Man today so he would quit crying ;) and on the way home the sky's opened up on me. Much to my surprise I didn't get that wet. all I had on was a Hoodie and some jeans and the only thing that got wet was my forearms and from my knees down. That's the driest I've been in a down poor like that. I think I'm going to like this shield a lot when I start into the bad weather riding again. :doorag:

I do like the look of your shield:2thumbs: I am 6'3 so I am having a hard time finding a shield to accomodate my height. i don't care for the bars on the slider shields that are by Marcel. Hmmm what will I end up doing?

I agree on CHAD. Last week, on the way back from Arkansas, we had heavy rain and sleet (along with a few lightning strikes) for about half way... 150 miles). I was just tooling along enjoying myself when everyone else (on two-wheelers) was somewhat tense and wet. :ohyea:

So you're saying that the CHAD also protects from lightning strikes ;)

What a windshield! :D

I hope you're not jinxing us for the LA trip. :sour: :D :D

ok we could work a deal here:2thumbs:

btw - i am not a big fan of windshields but coming cross country could get ugly without one

This is the first ride I've ever kept a windshield on and I've been cross country on my last 4 rides. If it works right it's kind of nice. :doorag:

I figured you'd like the CHAD. I've been impressed with W's. I do like the black-out effect.

Took the spyder to work today and really love the CHAD. Now that we have it positioned right, I get very little wind and I can ride without face shield and worries about my sunglasses flying off. It makes for a much more enjoyable ride.

Now that looks sharp.
Did you paint the bottom section?

Is there anyone who has the chad who is 6' or taller? I have the large F1 slider and I am 6 feet tall, and I'm getting bad head buffeting and noise at speeds over 65 mph. I've tried several different helmets, so I know that's not the problem.
