GoPro Hero Power Adapter Question

Anyone find a flexable or tight space mini USB that will fit within the GoPro Hero 3 case so you can apply external power while it is mounted on the Spyder? If I can get one small enough to fit, then using the back panel with the openings should allow me to apply external USB power instead of relying on the short battery life. I found a small 90º adapter but it turnd the connector down and it needs to be turned toward the back to work.

Take a look at the skeleton case. It has cutouts for plugging in cables. Of course it will not be waterproof. I use one on my Gold Wing.
