There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. My dear sweet black shadow passed early yesterday morning. Not much of a Thanksgiving but it's gote thinking of a long long tour on the Spyder.

As usual thank god for this community. It's support. And it's knowledge.

[SIZE=+1]Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Both me and Cinamon the cat (who is helping me type this) say sorry for your loss. Our pets do become a part of our family. Rainbow bridge above--says it all.

So sorry for your loss. As a person who rescues feral cats and then neuters/spays and keeps them forever I feel your loss. My highest count at one time was 41 cats and after 15 years still have 15 of those originals. I know that each and every one is special in its own way and even if some are more personable and lovable than others, I worry about each and every one if it doesn't show up for breakfast and miss and mourn each one that goes missing. May the memories of your beautiful cat soon overcome the pain of your loss and make you smile every time you remember.

Very sorry for your loss.
We have six right now - and lost our original three not long ago (one a year for three years).
You never forget & the pain is never gone completely...but, it does get better.

Pets are kids with fur.........that listen better. Sorry to hear abut your loss. +2 on the Rainbow Bridge

My Condolences

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Shadow. I have 2 cats(fury children) they came to us as strays. They have given us so much joy that I know the pain you are in. I still miss my other 2 cats that have passed away. They are never forgoten

So very sorry for your loss. Pets are very much members of the family. A concept those with pets don't get. I know you will have a hole in your heart for a while. May it soon be filled with only good memories and not the pain you feel now.

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the
scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.
He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead
for years. He wondered where the road was leading them.
After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the
road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken
by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.
When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that
looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like
pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.
When he was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?"
"This is Heaven, sir," the man answered.
"Wow! Would you happen to have some water?" the man asked.
"Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right
up."
The man gestured, and the gate began to open.
"Can my friend," gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler
asked.
"I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets."
The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.
After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a
dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been
closed. There was no fence.
As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.
"Excuse me!" he called to the man. "Do you have any water?"
"Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in."
"How about my friend here?" the traveler gestured to the dog.
"There should be a bowl by the pump."
They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand
pump with a bowl beside it.
The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he
gave some to the dog.
When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.
"What do you call this place?" the traveler asked.
"This is Heaven," he answered.
"Well, that's confusing," the traveler said. "The man down the road said
that was Heaven, too."
"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell."
"Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?"
"No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind."

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. This story might have been written with a dog as the main character, but it of course applies eqully to all of our beloved pets...

Sorry for your loss, my present furry friend is "Blanco" a white German Shepherd but I also love cats. In my life I have lost several pets and felt sorrow every single time.

Doc, we're very sorry for your loss. We also have 4, all rescues, two feral, one shelter, and one that was about to be "thrown out". We lost our much loved Miss Kitty several years ago. We said no more. That lasted about 3 weeks. Best friends will never be replaced, but new friends are waiting for a loving home.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. They mean so much to me.

Rainbow Bridge was wonderful as was the story about the real heaven. I reposted both to my Facebook page.

Mick Jaguar was a feral cat I rescued off the streets one night after I found him hit by a car.

I still have one cat left from those days and my newer three dogs including a big puppy.

Thanks to everyone. You made my first night without him a little bit easier.
