• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We got back late Saturday night from SITR. it was nice to wear a jacket during the summer, and back home it was 100+. We took a few pictures, one of the ride through Prairie Creek State Park, and another of one of the Victorian mansions at Eureka. The main street of Eureka has a lot of Victorian restorations, and the village of Ferndale ten miles down the road is mostly restored Victorian homes. We came back on the Avenue of the Giants about a twenty mile drive through the redwoods, and saw two deer fortunately they crossed the road about 30 yards ahead of us. The casino was a good venue, they handled the event very professionally.
It was a great event, thank you to the organizing committee for making this work so well.
Next year the Avocado Festival at Morro Bay in September will probably be my late summer event as 2016 will be a bye year for SITR.

Great news..!!

Glad you made it back safely..:2thumbs: I didn't hit sunshine till I reached Bakersfield then cooled around LA but when all came to a screeching halt around Capistrano the sun was full on. Stop and go all the way to Oceanside.
Was a great time even if the weather was cool, but no rain, well organized and venue was very nice. :2thumbs: :clap:well done guys...

When I looked at the map of attendees I was shocked to see how many were there from Sou Cal...less than a handful. And I don't know why. There are three SRA chapters located there. But that membership is only a handful compared to how many Spyder owners are out there. I think in the future the best way for BRP to lend their support is by sending emails and brochures advertising the event...all the events. SITR doesn't have this info.
