• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Talked to my painter James last night and we're looking like I can start putting it back together this Wednesday. :doorag: The paint came out really nice and he just has some sanding and another clear coat to do and then it will be ready for the road.

If all goes well I should have my Spyder back in time for a test ride before I head to Daytona.:2thumbs:

Really looking forward to meeting some of you folks there and to get you all to sign the SpyderWeb and to get it moving across the country. This is going to be a great year for riding.:2excited::spyder2:

Hi there boss, With regard to your painting, did your man have any issues with the paint sticking to the 'nylon' parts of your loved one? Or your Spyder come to that !!!
Ride safe,
john.

If the Spyder is going to be anything like the M109R, it'll be awesome. D. Reinhard, Ohio

That stuff is a real pain to paint. There's oil that if you don't prep it right the oil will come to the surface and cause the paint to peal. There's a 3 part system to prep and prime those parts. James is doing it right but man is it a lot of work.:yikes:

Thanks for that. Ive tried to clean the 'nylon' with sevaral cleaners, but even the decals come off after a fairly short time. Perhaps somthing was put on to protect the finish while shipping to the UK.

Anyone with any ideas ?
