• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good Florida Dealer

My Dad lives in Citrus County Florida and needs to have the DPS recall done. I am looking for a good dealer to service the bike around the Citrus County area. He bought the bike from Champion Honda-Yamaha in Leesburg, but they have lost their Can-Am portion of the dealership, and won't do the warranty work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Clearwater West Coast Powersports 727 536 0292. They have RS DPS's:thumbup:

Seminole Power Sports in Sanford, Flarda. That's about an hour and fifteen minutes from Inverness which I believe to be in Citrus County. I've had nothing but good dealings with them.

There is a Can Am dealer in Brooksville, FL, about 1/2 hour sough of Inverness.
Adventure Cycle Center (352) 796-6116

We've not used them so I don't know how good they are. We take my wife's Spyder back to Barney's in St. Petersburg. They do good work there.

Same owners as Barneys in St. Pete and Tampa. They are a growing company.

Daytona Fun Machines in Holly Hill has been great servicing my wife's '08. They performed the recall as well as the 6K service and I would trust their Can-Am mechanic with most anything on the bike, he really knows the product.

FYI, you will need to contact whatever dealer and scheduled your replacement in advance. They have to order the DPS against your VIN and when this first came out they didn't get the next unit in the pipeline until they returned the last unit they took out. Not sure if that's still the case.

I know it's not directly in your back yard but it's a nice ride and a decent destination. http://www.daytonafunmachines.com/
