Roadking for a spyder
I bought a new spyder last Oct. I got a 2009 SM5. I also have a 2008 Harley Roadking and a 2002 Indian. I have a great time on all 3 of them. The spyder gets alot of looks but so does my Indian. The Roadking is just alot more pleasant to ride on a trip. 6 speed verses a 5 speed on the spyder. Bigger engine on the Harley. Better reliability on the Harley. If you have trouble on the Harley there are dealers everywhere. I love riding my spyder but if i had to get rid of one of the 3 bikes the spyder would be the 1st to go. I am not trying to talk you out of anything just trying to give something to think about. If you are out to get looks and you really don't ride on trips alot maybe you would like the spyder better. Mine gets terrible gas milage. I rode it about 45 miles tonight and it quit on me twice. I still had alot of fun on it and it turns alot of heads but i will take the Harley any day.
