• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Going to be upgrading server soon

Thank you for all that you do Lamont. You are the glue that binds us all together. Count me in if you need us to make donations for the upgrade.

Thanks

Thanks for all that you do for all of us. I have learned a lot about a lot of things Spyder, which I would not have been able to do otherwise. If we have to miss things for a couple of days, it will give us all an excuse to finish up winter farkles, since we will have time on our hands. Then there is the snow coming on Sunday/Monday which will give us here in the Northeast yet more time to work on mods.

Thanks again from the whole community.

It has been a long hard winter here and I have been on the forum often. I'm probably not the only one though as close to half the country has been buried and frozen for too long without a break. Hopefully we all can soon get a break from this winter weather and get back in our saddles again and do some riding.

I hope that it happens on a weekend; at least I can sleep in, and watch "Gilligan's Island" re-runs; while sucking my thumb!

Lamont. You should consider moving to a scalable VM. Once done you will never have to worry about hardware servers etc. I moved to a managed VM last year and would never go back.
