They are overdue for a WS win!

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Indians and Cubbies
A good friend is an Indians fan and I follow the Cubs. He grew up in Mansfield, OH following the tribe and I started following the Cubs when we moved to northern Indiana in '86. Last March we both went to Phoenix to watch Spring Training and saw a couple of Indians games, Cubs games and Cubs/Indians. We both remarked about how really great it would be to have a Cubs/Indians world series and we both chuckled at the ludicrous idea. Well... here we are!! We both followed our teams all season and have been absolutely flabbergasted at this result. But, good friend or not - GO CUBS!!! :firstplace:

Was it in the 5th the Indians got a 2 run rally ???.... well it started when the Indians had 2 outs & a full count on the next batter and the umpire called a BALL on a pitch that was VERY much a Strike .... as was shown right after by the Strike box over-lay the net-work showed....... So just for that alone the Cubs deserved to Win .......... PS I'm not a fan of either team ................Mike :thumbup:

Wow! What a game! I am not a fan, but I watched the final four innings--here, it was on at evening news time. I did not have a favorite team because I am not a fan of baseball.
It was a real nail-biter. Glad to see the Cubs came back and pulled it off.
