• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

glow rider wheel light

Glo ryders are a great product to dress up the Spyder. I have had them on all three of my Spyders now. I just got a different color (yellow) for my RTS.

I can install a set in less than 10 minutes. Dont take the tires off--install them from the outside of tire.

One set of batteries lasts me a whole season.

One other Easly to fix issue is that if you are going to balence your wheels you would need to remove the glow riders aluminum insert first.

When I bought this spyder it had them on it but they don’t work. So I need to take off the cover and replace the batters and hope that fixes it. Curious of the lights that was put on. I’m assuming white. Pink. Or purple.

Whoever sold you the Spyder should have also provided the remote that works with the lights. The remote will turn the lights on and off and also allow you to change the color and/or pattern (flashing, steady etc). If you don't have the remote, the lights won't work. By the way, GloRyder has now come up with a new style that does NOT require batteries. You may want to check them out. They won't be available until later this year, but you can pre-order now. There's a link to their web-site on the home page of SpyderLovers. Good luck.

Thats not quite necessarily true. I bought a set of glo-ryders that is only one color (in my case blue) does have batteries, but no remote. They turn on when the wheels spins, stay on a few mins after I stop.

I'd change out the batteries and see what happens. If not, either get a hold of the old owner, if you can, or contact glo-ryders to see if they will sell you a remote.

I can find his so called set screw to take the center hub out to check out if it has a battery. Speaking of... if it charges itself while moving then why do ppl put regular batteries in them?
