Mine are in the mail.
I'm sure I'm not the only one, but when I looked at the GloRyder product, I noticed they were advertising that they now fit the F3. I searched the site but couldn't find an F3 design. Other Spyder designs were available including one for the RT, so I emailed to inquire and sent them a couple of examples of what I was thinking of as a design.
Low and behold, about 3 weeks later, I got an email from them that an F3 design was now available.
You'll have to get us some good pictures of the Logo, when it's lit up...:2thumbs:
JI'm googling these NOW. WANT.
What did you decide? Did you order them?I'm googling these NOW. WANT.
Thanks for stopping by.I put a set of gloriders on my wife's RS three years ago. we've used them on her ST limited as well as now her F3. they fit great they look good and we've never had one issue with them. The batteries on hers usually last about a season-and-a-half.
What did you decide? Did you order them?
If so, how are you liking them since you've installed them?
- How effective are they?
- Difficulty to install?
- Battery life? (of course, I know that depends on how long they are run, but some idea would be good to know)
- How durable are they?
- Any failure issues with the circuit boards or the units coming loose?
- Other comments or observations as well.
I'd love to hear some feedback from you if you will please take the time to post here, or you can inbox me too.
Thanks in advance for your time!
Thanks for your reply.I throughly enjoy the look of the lights, they don't cast a great deal of light but they do what they're advertised to, which is cast a light on the rims. They are very easy to install and there has been no issues with the circuit board or the units coming loose. The construction is top notch which you'll be able to tell just by the weight of the lights. Overall the lights, for me, are one of my favorite additions. The multiple colors and the two brightness settings are the best.
Thanks for your reply.
Did you go with the 2 wheel or 3 wheel?
How long have you had them installed?
Any issues with the units corroding?
What about the battery life?
Are you just using them when you go to special events or group rides?
What's your opinion on the value for the pricing?
Thanks for your reply. It would be nice if there was a mobile app available for the "Controls."I went with just two wheels and I've had them on for close to one year. There are no signs of any corroding and I've only changed the batteries once, although I will suggest that at the end of your riding season that you remove the batteries. As far as usage, anytime I'm out at night I turn them on because they're unique. For a true wireless remote control lighting system, I believe the value is there. This was my first experience with adding extra light to my F3-S and I've not had one complaint.
Hope this helps.
