• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just got my Gloriders for my spyder took off one wheel and they do not fit in the center hole there to big. Are they suppose to fit over the hole or in the hole. In the hole would be a cleaner look but.
Thank for any help

You can install them without taking the wheel off.
The ring with the set screws is flush with the outside of the wheel. The housing bolts to that.

Good info I was thinking about getting those for my RT-S. Just to confirm I do not not need to take off the wheels to install?
Thanks

I have done the glo riders both ways also. It is a little work to use the allen wrench in the tight space--but it does beat jacking up the bike, taking the wheel off and still having to work in the confined space anyway.

Not an easy install...I didn't take the tire off...you have three 'screws' that have to be tightened into the rim. You can't overtighten any one first or the whole thing will come out...tighten each as you go...take your time and roll the wheel to get a good angle on each individual screw...it looks easy, but it's not.

Gloriders are the BOMB!

Sorry to use a old expression but I wanted to say they are awesome. Easy to install and look great going down the road. Gloriders sent them in only two days and in 5 minutes they were attached and Glowing!:bowdown:

:agree: It isa very easy and simple install. Did not remove wheels and had completed and ryding in under ten minutes.

Mr. All Thumbs here

I did the install with all ten of my thumbs in about 20 minutes with the wheels on. Believe me, if I can do it anyone over the age of 5 can. I am NOT mechanically inclined at all.

BTW . . I have the aqua and really like the way they look.

I'm seeing the fain glimmer of hope in your comments... Now if I could just get a copy of the instructions to wring my hands over for a little while maybe I can build up enough courage to order and install them...
(I'm talking NO mechanical sense coupled with an impressive lack of common sense!) :D

Bob,

It's three set screws, two flat head screws and that's really it. The hardest part is getting back up from sitting on the floor.:roflblack::roflblack:nojoke

Shoot... If that's all... Oh! getting off of the floor...  :D
Question: So if you're going to let them run while out on the road, is the yellow or orange up front considered legal?? :dontknow:
