• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Glacier National Park

We did this last time we were up there and really enjoyed it. Rode the Canadian area for a few days. Pulled the passports out last week and realized that our passports expired 6 months ago.

Would recommend taking one of the 1930s buses for going up the going to the Sun highway. if you ride all you will see is the back bumper of the car 5 or 6" in front of you and will have some yahoo on your rear about the same distance.

While in the area check out the Canadian side. That’s where we saw the animals!
Based on my trip there 50 years ago, I suggest you do Glacier first and then Waterton. Why? Because IMO Waterton is prettier and by doing it second you'll be amazed by the scenery on both sides!!

Going to do both. My wife already made reservations for the bus. AND I'll take another day to ryde the Going to the Sun ( leaving early to avoid some of us touristas ). ANND---- a third time when we leave for the second half of our summers tour.

Dress for the weather. My wife and daughter have been there the last 10 days and said its cold, rainy and windy.

In Orofino, Idaho.
We and met up with another couple on an RT. Saw them as they waved at us in Riggins. Stunning ryde from Bosie. Mountians, river valleys, rolling plains too.
Tomorrow: Off to Missoula via Lolo.

We did roughly the same route you are on last year. Beautiful country and Idaho became one of our favorite states to ride in. Lolo is a great ride too. Be safe, have fun, and keep us posted..... Jim

Short trip over Lolo pass to Missoula Mt. Beautiful Ryde. A LOT OF WATER HERE!! Next stop--- Glacier NP:D

PS: Spyder ran perfectly. ECU flash makes So much difference 2 up, with all our stuff, pulling up grades EASILY.

In Whitefish for tonite. Glacier NP tomorrow, riding the cute buses . Then I'll ride Going to the Sun road on Sunday morning (early).

Utah-Geezer, I was there the same time as you. Did you stop at the restaurant/gift shop at the east entrance to the park? I saw a white RT parked there as we drove by.

Actually, it wasn’t as crowded as it had been when I had visited before. There was a mess near Logan where everyone was trying to turn into the full parking lot for the visitors center there, but not too bad other than that. I saw 3 additional Spyders, plus goats, bighorn sheep, and one grizzly.

Decided not to go on Su day. Will get out early ( leave Whitefish at 7 am ) on Monday Saw 1 :spyder2: on Sat. Checked out the local ski resort and an art fair today.
Back on the road (turning on to larger road) I had the opportunity to open the throttle while 2 up. PULLs hard with flashed ECU. Best $$ You'll spend on a :spyder2: proformancewise.
