There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There is no confirmation email. If she registered she should be able to go to the GOS FB page and see all the posts. If she is not registered she won't be able to see the posts on the FB page. Also sometimes it takes a few days to get on the site as the administrator of the site is busy. i hope this helps.

So they actually "check you out" before you can log in? Actually until you log in you can't see anything until they "ok" you.

It is a closed site. So yes they want to make sure you are real and who you say you are. They get lots of spammers trying to get on the site.

I don't know if you are familiar with facebook, or not, but a page admin has to "check you out" before granting privileges to a page, or they would be overwhelmed with SPAM and porn . . . there are folks who join every group they can, just to dump their junk onto the page. I monitor two, and almost daily get requests for membership for people who want to overwhelm the page with ads or links to porn sites. The fact that the admins are at Daytona Bike Week may slow the process, slightly . . .

They get a lot of men trying to access it and other weirdos too. (not saying that men are weirdos LOL).. Send me a PM with her name and I can send her info to the administrator.
