Gettysburg Bike Week 2015

Anyone planning on being at Gettysburg Bike Week 2015? We are doing our annual Gettysburg Vacation from 7/1 thru 7/19.

We go to Gettysburg every year. However, we have never been there during Bike Week. Always before or after. What is the Spyder turnout? I have only seen one spyder there after Bike Week.

Lot of views and no replys. I can only surmise Spyders don't go.

We would love to go. My sister lives in Hanover, just 20 minutes from Gettysburg. Unfortunately, we can't.

I didn't even know they had a bike week. We were there back in July of 2007. We were passing through on our way to the Tail of the Dragon, and decided to get a room for the night. Wouldn't you know it, it was the anniversary of the battle of Gettysburg. Really cool place with lots to see. We stayed at the Quality Inn hotel across the street from the museum. It was the only room available in the whole town.

Does it coincide with the re-enactment of the battle ?

Gettysburg Bike Week is 7/9 - 7/12.

Battle of Gettysburg was 7/1 thru 7/3 with the Confederates withdrawing on the 4th. Gettysburg today promotes the entire summer. Although the reenactments of the Battle this year takes place 7/3 thru the 5th. It does not take place on the Battlefield. Although there are many reenactment camps on the battlefield during the summer.

I have seen Spyders there in past few years. This year I am bringing mine. PA and MD SpyderRyders have nothing posted for their groups this year. I guess I will spend time with my HD Triker buddy.
