• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Getting Radio Interference from Slingmods LED bar - any fixes??

I installed the Slingmods SE Performance LED Driving Light Bar Kit for the Can-Am Spyder RT (2020+) on my 2022 Spyder RT Limited. Whenever I turn it on, it causes interference on my FM radio, both on the spyder and on my Sena unit.

Anyone know how I can correct this issue?

You got something wrong with either a ground or your light bar I have the same item on my 2022 and used it last summer and had no issues with any interference with either the radio, Sena units, GPS or any other electronics.

Desertlawman,

We had a similar problem on a large construction machine, We replaced the LED work lights to a better quality LED and the problem was resolved. Maybe try a completely different set of lights. Something about LED's and FM radios doesn't always klick. Its a frequency glitch. Best of Luck, Bill

try putting a ferrite ring core magnet around the power cable, or better yet put one around the cable running up to the switch and one running to the light.
the ring magnets are used to filter out ''noise''.........seriously.

Contact Slingmods. The driver for the lights is either defective or bad design. A ferrite core may clear the problem but let Slingmods send you one and tell you how to install it.

I agree with the ferrite core. If that doesn't do it, try running the ground wire for the lights straight to the battery.
