• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The dealer told me that IAW Can Am policy, they couldn't show me where the oil filter and drain plug was. I like to do my own LOF changes, so before I break something removing side panels, can someone let me know where they are and how to remove the panels I need to? Thanks

Your dealer is full of you know what. :yikes:

Total BS

I asked my dealer before I bought my Spyder and was told no it would not void my warranty if I do my own oil changes. I plan on changing my oil in the next couple of weeks since I have already put almost 2,500 miles in a month. Gotta love Texas weather.👍

IDIOTS!

Report them to BRP, and the BBB! That is the craziest thing I have heard! It is in the manual; You might show the Owner or Manager, and tell them what moron told you that! Make them show you the "policy", and give you a copy!
You need a new dealer! Yikes!

I don't think this is the first complaint about an Arizona stealer. I wonder if it's the same one as the other complaints.

How about letting us know what dealership to avoid in your area in Arizona?

ALSO THIS INFO

Something else they WON'T tell you is what the " Moss-Magnussen act " says :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:..... IMHO they don't have Spyder DEALERships in Az...... they are mostly known as STEALERships .... I feel sorry for you folks ...all that nice weather ........ Mike

On another note, can you swap out the Tranny HCM filter without doing a complete oil change (I.E. can you just drain the transmission side without all of the oil in the engine side tank coming out when I pull the transmission filter?)

Yeah, I purchased a Droptail trailer at the same dealership. The trailer was dirty and the couldn't be bothered to explain operation of trailer. Said that they were busy and were not familiar with product. Funny, they were skilled enough to take my money. How many people go into a small shop and spend over 3,000.00 dollars on a accessory ? Going into business to go out of business, seems a strange pursuit.

As others said, the oil change info is published by BRP in the operators manual.

Expose the dealer and ensure others avoid them!

Being Arizona, it is probably another Ride Now, or maybe we should now call the Don't Ride Now dealership horror story
