• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gel Seat Pads

Has anyone had experience with the Gel Sheepskin Seat Pads from American Motorcycle Specialties? My brother and I recently purchased identical Can-Am RT Limited Spyders with black seats. We also purchased Gel Seat Pads from AMS. We both had the problem with the non-slide material on the back of the Gel Pad releasing and becoming attached to the Spyder seat. I talked with the AMS owned last week and he has never had this happen before. He thought we had let them sit in the hot sun and/or there was a treatment substance on the seat that caused a reaction. My seat has been in use for a month with daily riding and no treatment of any kind has been put on the seat, only the seat of my pants has been on the seat. I put my Gel Pads on this evening (in the cool garage) and we took a 1 hour ride (weather was 80 degrees), and after returning home I removed the Gel Pads, and there was some of the non-slide material stuck to the Spyder seat. Any feedback would be appreciated.
