There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Gear brake modulator

Hi all

has anyone installed a Gear Brake - brake light modulator on their f3? I ordered and installed one and it flashes the brake light fine . The problem is that when I hit the turn signal, both lights flash....

Yup, known behavior with any current modulator out there when installed on an F3 or F3-S. The brake/turn circuits are controlled & differentiated by the system on the bike.... No one has figured out how to "break out" the circuits to be able to modulate them properly. So far I have only found one vendor that keeps "promising" to come out with an "add on" light bar and modulator.... but it still hasn't happened months after the "promise".

I just used a 3 to 4 trailer box to separate out the signals. Not using the brake modulator but I wanted it to be able to install some leds on the license plate bracket that would flash with the brake activation. Works fine. I have now tied in the leds on my saddle bags as well.

Nice! But I'm wanting to keep the number of components to a minimum.... And plug-n-play as much as possible. I hate adding wiring and soldering/crimping etc if I can get something with OEM plugs.... Sooooo, here I sit, waiting impatiently for Electrical Connection! :banghead:

Understand completely and agree. Plug and play is nice but in this case even though mine is I had to make it myself using OEM connectors so I can always unplug my additions which fit in as jumpers in the regular circuit. Hopefully someone will get something on the market soon to help you out.
