• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gauges on RTL

Somewhere in the forum there was a conversation regarding the analog guages being replaced and using the digital versions on the center display.

i got excited for the possibility of using the slots for other purposes, but discovered my center group does not have the temp and fuel graphs.

Is this because I have a 2013 RTL or do I need a software update that will put them on the screen?

thank you in advance for all the learned experience that I get on this page!

You have to disconnect the gauges and your digital will come up you could add a voltage gauge or anything else
That's the way I have mine

BOTH gauges need to be disconnected. You will find a single "free" wire and a plastic cluster of three wires for each gauge. Disconnect all of these on each gauge.

The gauges on the 2014 are rock solid and I have not disconnected them. I disconnected the gauges on the 2010, and 2011 and went to digital. An easy fix for the non-mechanical.

AWESOME, I would love to put in a voltage guage in the round analogue holes, could I ask where to acquire such an item?

:clap: Getting excited about this now.

There is a video on here by Bob(finless) on how to do this and the gauge he ordered. I bought the same gauge, though I think that is not available now but another similar is. I have enjoyed mine, but I was informed by my dealer when he changed my battery that it reads 1/2 volt low. Don't know if this is true of others or not but something to be aware of.
