I just got home from a 2600 mile road trip from Delaware to Florida and back with a few side trips (in the car, not the bike unfortunately), and I was amazed at the number of tire carcasses I saw and hit along the way! One trucker had a blowout a few hundred yards in front of me that sent everyone around him scurrying for the shoulder and the median! This was my first trip south in the past couple of years but it just seems like this is more of a problem than it used to be. Is it the tire industry, the roads, or just me (or a combination of all three)? :dontknow:
And to keep this motorcycle related, I think we can all see how this is more a threat to two and three wheelers than others. Also, I only passed two :spyder2:'s during the whole trip; one north of Daytona on 95 last Friday, and one near Charlotte, NC yesterday on 85.
