• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Smell

I HAD A SPYDER TECH TELL ME THE PURGE VALVE DOES NOT OPEN BELOW 5000 RPM HE TOLD ME TO RUN 6000+RMP THE LAST FEW MILE HOME THAT WOULD PURGE THE CANISTER. HE TOLD ME TO ALWAYS SHIFT AT 5000 TO 6000RPM EVEN IN 1ST.:doorag:

Hmmm I would like Lamont to comment on this it sounds like a plan to me but I always shift at 6k now because the next gear is at 4.8k and in the best power band.

Won't help the gas fumes after the bike is stopped in the garage anyway. The bike does not suck in the fumes when its not running. The boiling gas WILL emit fumes, canister or not. The only practical way to stop the fumes is to remove the heat from the tank. A pressurized tank could do it but not very practical in this application.
