There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Gas Mileage on 2010 RT

Is there anything that is suggested, to add to gas to up the mileage any? I know some people put Sea Foam in their tanks and say they have no problem, but asked dealer when I had the laser alignment done, about the Sea Foam, and he told me do not add nothing. Said that he had talked to people that didn't have a problem us this stuff, but others had lots of trouble with the engine running right after that.
Going to SpyderQuest in the morning then Maggie Valley the following week, after driving down the coast from SpyderQuest, so DO NOT want any mechanical engine problems.

Hey Steve and Belinda. No magic pill here for mileage. Pushing the front end of a Spyder down the road is similar to pushing a barn door down the road. So, if you're getting 28-30 ish, you're there.

Now about additives - It's standard operating procedure for lots of us to use an ethanol treatment in every tankful. At least it is for me. My juice of choice is Lucas Oil - the one in the green bottle. And I think it helps to run a tank with injector cleaner in it every 3 thousand miles or so. My choice is Techron, but Seafoam is good, too. The only problem I've ever heard of was related to the effects of any cleaner cleaning up an already dirty fuel system. But that will pass with continued use and a clean fuel filter.

Have a good trip.

Had one of those. 31 mpg ball park was about the usual tank to tank average. Did get 35 one time. A low speed ride (45 or so) through some beautiful twisties. It never happened again for me though.

Our 2011 RT performs the same.

Our 2014 RT gets about 39 consistently.

Proper air pressure in the tires, windshield slightly down, good alignment, lots of downhills, and good wind at your back, are some of the other things that help.

We did some riding in Southern Utah a few weeks ago and got 33 on the back roads. 185 miles on 5 1/2 gallons. When you get on an interstate highway your mileage will suffer. I use Seafoam when I change the oil or to treat the fuel when the bike will sit.

Burned a full tank yesterday, got about 34mpg....I was pleasantly surprised. That was without any additives. You're best to just use fresh fuel. The bike will adjust to the blend it's burning. I DO use an additive just prior to storage, (Marine grade Stabil) and just coming out of storage, (Seafoam). I do this with everything I own and always have great luck. In the end, fresh fuel is your best bet, otherwise, just ride and enjoy

We have a 2010 RT and I use Star Tron every 3-4 tanks. Its hard to find ethanol free gas so that's why I use it the way I do. It counters the effects of ethanol and doesn't harm the engine at all. Doesn't help with fuel mileage either but I consistently get 32 MPG. Keep the engine in the correct RPM range 4500-5000 and you should be good.

I had a 2010 RT, and averaged 33.5 mpg.
Try running ethanol-free fuel; if you can...
Run with the windshield in the lowest possible position (about 1/2" up from the bottom)
Keep your tires at the highest suggested pressures.
If you have the stock air deflectors under the mirrors: remove them! If you have adjustable ones: set them up to deflect as little air as possible
...And slow down about 5 mph or so! nojoke
