• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Card, thanks again BRP

Did everyone use their Gas Card already? What a great added touch to an already great event. We saved ours and used them in MI as that is where gas is more expensive. It was nice not to have to fork out money out of our own pockets for those last few stops. Thanks again BRP, keep doing what you are doing.

Was going to use ours today on the way home, but the clerk said it expired. Sure enough, the expiration date said 6/19.

Seriously it was expired? I never even thought to look at that. Just looked at mine and it expired on the 19th also. I wish they would have mentioned that.

? That should mean June of 2019... not June 19th.

I know Ron and Frenchy said that it would not work at one station, but it did work at the BP station.

So don't toss them, just try another brand station at your next fill up.

6/19 shouldn't be a month and day, that should be a month and year. Don't throw it away, try a different place. Just doesn't make any sense. I have never seen any gift cards that have a specific day listed on them.

I never looked at mine either, until I heard a group of people saying they expired on Sunday, 6/19. I thought it was very odd, but went ahead and used it for gas on the way home. :dontknow: Whether it really expired on Sunday or not, it was a very nice gesture on BRP's part, and something they did not have to do.

They need to be ran as CREDIT *NOT* DEBIT

They say debit on the card, but tell the clerk to try running the card as credit. Once I did that, mine worked without a problem :2thumbs:

Thanks BRP

That's what BRP mentioned at the event. They said the card would not work at the pump - you have to go in and pay with the card.

:agree:100%. I'm going to try mine again just for the heck of it.

Unlike a gift card purchased at a retailer, corporations can purchase bulk gift cards to expire on a certain month/day since they have to be run off at the same time.

Used mine for breakfast $20.20.

Tried to get 4.20 gas that evening and it was declined.

There had been a $2.50 fee charged against the card.

Did get 2.30 in gas on what was left on the card.

Gift Card

I used mine today, Put 25.00 of gas in my truck half a tank, I remember a while back that would have filled it up...:yikes:

Freebob...:doorag:

I did manage to use mine today on base. The clerk set the pump for $25.00. At 20.88 the pump quit. She said I had to wait two to three weeks for the other 4.22 to credit back to the card. :gaah:

used mine at walmart last night

just told clerk and she set for first $25 to go on card

paid balance with another visa card :2thumbs:

GAs Card is Fine..

I really did not think BRP would give us a gas card that expired in 24 hours. I did not get around to using mine until today - the 22nd.. I went to RACETRAC and had them run it as a credit not debit card to authorize $25.00. It authorized immediately and worked perfectly.. I still believe the expiration date that some folks are seeing is 06/19 ie. june 2019...
