Gas Cap

Got the new cap in the mail today. Didn't have a problem with the old one. Once
in while I would get 2 or 3 drips, just vapor coming out of the hose.

i got my gas cap yesterday put it on threw old one in trash.

So, who all is BRP sending these to? Is there a certain year bike that it affects or is it everyone?

Yes, that's exactly the same thing my 2012 RT does, but every time I shut it down. And it still does it with the new gas cap.

The recall was primarily for the fire risk issue and that is why they should be installed whether or not you have any smell problems

Over time it appears to me that they are sending the caps to nearly everyone.

I noticed your back rest on your limited. I have the same color. Is the back rest from Utopia? And did you install it and or was it difficult?

Yes, that's exactly the same thing my 2012 RT does, but every time I shut it down. And it still does it with the new gas cap.

You might be running her to too rich. That why she smell after shut down. Try let her idle few seconds before turning her off.
