• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone using a Garmin Zumo 396? I ordered one today and was looking for some reviews from you guys. Seems to be a good unit based on other reviews. Just curious...Likes and dislikes.....

I have a new Garmin 396 on my 2013 STS. The bluetooth is great. Pairs easily with my SENA SMH10 headset.
I'm still working on mastering all the nuances of the optional software package installed on the cell phone.
Maps appear to be up to date. The screen display is bright and clear even in bright daylight.
No complaints.

Don’t trust the mount! I’m on my second one because I had the mount already. I had the second one fall off a couple of months ago! Went back and picked it up off the road. I’m thinking that’s what happened to the first one because I can’t find it anywhere?
I’ve added a couple of heavy duty rubber bands to the current one as a CYA back up.
Other that that it’s great! It’s amazing to info that it has contained inside on the roads.

I have one mounted on my 2 wheeler. Seems to work well, lots of extra info like when speed limits change that scroll across the top. Even helmet info when crossing state lines. Mount seems secure, did not fall off on a 2175 mile trip. The best part is it was $250.

Got it a day early and did the install tonight. A little tough pulling the power cable but I got it eventually. Lots of goodies on the thing. Got a few routes planned out and ready to load too. Got it paired to my phone, earbuds are next.....time for bed!!

I find that the screen is a bit small, but I felt it was important to get an "all-weather" unit. This one fits the bill and is still relatively affordable. It works well, and I found it easy to change between distance and time to destination.
