I recently installed a Garmin Motorcycle mount on the Madstad windshield mount of my RSS and did not have to do any holes on the RSS.
A dual RAM ball kit was bolted directly on the Madstad kit and I used the already in place hole on the RSS (where the information card is on the Spyder) to pass the cable through it in a “split flex tubing” to protect it.
I just had to do a small cut where the wire went, see attached pictures.
It looks clean and cost was below $ 100.
The kit still has an extra RAM ball available for additional accessories.
