GA Spyder Riders Get Together Request for Suggestions

Its that time of the year to get out and ride!!! Want to meet other Spyder Riders? Want to get together and ride/eat/socialize? We need suggestions, meeting places, etc. This is YOUR group, if you want to do something, the suggest it. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to organize the group as much as I would like. If you want to still have a GA Spyder Riders group, then we need some movement on what to do. So what do you want to do? Please post suggestions below.

Mike, looks like somebody's gonna miss out regardless of when it happens. I'm cooking breakfast for the men of my church Saturday. We have a cleaning day the following Saturday. I might be available the 2nd Saturday of May.

I will be out of town that weekend myself. But I don't have to be there. If that works for everyone, we will set it up. But from the looks of it, not many people want to do anything.

A great ride is War Woman up near Clayton Ga. I have also seen a lot of Spyders going from Helen, Ga over the mountain to Hiawassee, Ga having dinner at the Otter Resturant on the lake. That is a beautiful ride.

I'll be heading up to Cowtown in Cuba, MO this next week to pick up my new Spyder. My blue Spyder is still there so I won't have anything to ride this weekend at the GA GWRRA's Wing Fling event in Clayton, GA. I'll be in my truck....again. It will be around the River Vista RV Resort. There will be at least one white 2014 Spyder RT there that i know of. Maybe y'all should consider joining a GWRRA chapter because they are doing stuff all the time.
The chapter 'L' out of Rome, GA went to Chappy's in Chattanooga a couple of weeks ago for lunch. Tastey chicken it was!

Meetup group friendly to Spyders

I'm 1 of 5 Spyders in a Meetup group named, Wind Cruisers of North Georgia. The group is a mix of 2 wheels & Spyders, rides out of Cartersville and monthly Meet & Eats. Friendly folks, the organizers are safety conscious, and the group is actively riding in the area. Next rides weekend of 6/27 (Blue Ridge) & 28 (covered Bridges)- we all rode together in another group and joined together.

I just back this morning for the GA-GWRRA's Wing Fling convention in Dillard, GA. I was a bit bored because I didn't have a bike to ride. I made the best of it driving my truck around.
I mentioned to the Chapter 'L' from Rome, GA gang that I should mention to y'all that they have rides planned a lot and also the ABATE group out of LaFayette, GA does a bunch of rides per month.
Either group welcomes anyone riding anything.

I should start posting some upcoming rides or events should y'all be interested in them?

Weather forecast this weekend is changing plans.
Saturdays ride to Blue Ridge & Mercier Orchard is moving to Sunday morning.
Sundays ride to 2 Covered Bridges will move out to July.

Warm Springs

July 18 a trip to Warm Springs, starting at Big-Uns biscuits in Cartersville. Then some covered bridges on the way back. Meet up info in earlier post.
Currently 13 Spyder riders in this group, lets see if we can get 10+ out together.

Winter is over and we're still riding. Today was a picnic trip to Cheaha State Park over in AL.

Atlanta Spyder Riders

It did not seem this page was very active so we started a Facebook group called Atlanta Spyder Riders. We have nearly fifty members scattered throughout Georgia and are adding members regularly. We have had one event and have a ride to Helen scheduled June 1st. We have folks looking to ride during the week as well as weekends. Check us out.
