• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wow,
Inovation on a top level!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Youtube shows the first "real"

Made by same guy who made the f1 evo!!. Cost anywhere from $329 to $369. Mine will be here in 2 weeks.

Good day,
baldev, the price is wrong.
On the other forum they say
"Can I place a Order and how much are they?
You sure can order one already. The Price for the new Slide Windshield will be $ 289.95"
Great price for that.
I have already my Slide Windshield on order.

will be in clear. Pretty cool.
I will post pics. as soon as I got it.

According to his site, the stationary portion is in dark smoke only. The moveable portion comes in any color or tint that he currently offers (clear, light smoke, dark, red, yellow, etc.) I would like to see how this thing operates. How do you adjust it, lock it in position, can you adjust it while riding, etc.

I couldn't find any info about this on his (terrible) site. Can you link me, bjt? This product has me interested.

I can honestly say it looks pretty good. I am going to wait and see what the reviews are like before I order mine. Thanks for the info SpyderJoe/Marcel or whatever name you are going by these days.

Personally I dont likes it at all, what happens at night? full dark smoke windshield, its too dark. The electric option is worthless, one day or another all electric components tend to brake or get damaged by the rain. I prefer the manual model than Industrie 7 www.industries7.com sells, more practical, and will not let you down on the road. I've ordered mine an should get it really soon.

Wow, nice first post.:dontknow:

I'm sure industries7 could sell a lot of those through NoMagicNeon here if they would follow through with the first contact. I think theirs looks much better other than the square corners but that could be fixed.:doorag:

I can understand about not liking it but your reasons are off a bit. Only the lower portion is dark smoke only and, unless you are crouched way down when riding, you don't look through that portion. The lower section is below eye level. The upper section can be clear, light smoke, dark smoke, yellow, red or blue.

Even though his video makes it look like its electric, it is not an electrically operated windshield. He has an assistant down behind the windshield making it move up and down. It is hand operated.

Other than that, Welcome to SpyderLovers. Keep coming back and be sure to let us know how the Industries 7 windshield works.

Don't knock the electric windshield option. I used to think it was utterly useless, but it sure is handy on my BMW R1100RT. I usually keep it fairly low, but with a change of wind, or a sudden rain, I can adjust it while cruising down the highway, and never miss a beat. 76,000 miles and eight years, and it still works perfectly. Thinking about a way I could modify one to work on a Spyder. So I'm spoiled rotten...

Me, too. Had one on the ST1300 and it was slick.
