• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel line and fuel fitting 'O' rings

Jeriatric

Thinks out loud
My fuel line leaks (yes plural).

As most rubber will. The fuel lines have shriveled due to under tupperware heat. Causing several oetiker clamps to become loose and cause leaking. The 'O' rings in the stab fittings (quick releases) have also shriveled causing them to become loose, and thus leak.

A heads up for all who do a lot of rideing in high heat, low humidity climates and/or those who perform DIY maintenance.

:agree: I will add to my list of things to inspect at oil change time.

Just did my 4500 mile oil change this weekend. Did it the hard way e.g. pulling all the covers off.
After reading Jerbear's leak last week, I inspected all the lines and the connector at the top of the tank. Happy to say all looked good!

Thanks for the heads up as I probably would not have gone through the top of the tank inspection which was not easy to get at.

Interesting. You never really think of these components being involved, just the emissions parts and the ignition components. There are additional things involved. Thanks for the heads-up.
