• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel Gauge

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue with their fuel gauge? I fill up and after about 10 miles the first bar disappears showing that my tank is no longer full. I have checked and filled it to the top of the collar on the inside of the tank.

Just wondering if this is normal.

TIA.

Yep, my first bar disappears after about 10-12 miles. Notice that it is a smaller bar than the ones below it.

I just burp the tank as I fuel to top and get almost another 1/2 gallon in. We ride around 30 miles before that first little corner of a bar disappears. 🏍😳. I stand on driver side rear peg and gently bounce up n down and gets a lot of air outta there.

Not to worry....

Bars appear and disappear depending on the angle of the road. As long as your over all mpg's are good ryde on...mine will vary maybe atmospheric pressure. :dontknow:
