• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frozen Snowy Spyder!

CRAZY !!!!!!!!!

I think it is a Spyder, however, the taillights don't look quite right....don't know??? It doesn't matter - they're crazy! LOL
I did see a HD the other day (earlier this week) in Minnesota riding when it was below zero actual temp and 15-20 below zero windchills...however the roads were dry. I saw the HD on I-94 on the Minnesota side just prior to the Hudson, WI bridge -- looks like he was doing the interstate speed of 65MPH!

CRAZY people! :yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:

Again this was posted on the CAN-AM Spyder group on Facebook and the poster said it was a Spyder in front of him.

So analyze this all you want.... the OP said it was a spyder...

Also how does a truck leave a center of the road tire track? That doesn't make sense.....

Bob

SPYDER ????

I don't think it is either. Have never seen such large lights on a Spyder front fender. Also you can not see the bottom of the persons legs.
Looks like a Gold also.wing to me

2013 and later had MUCH larger lights on the front fenders front, side, and rear!.... You cannot compare previous years to 2013 and above. Well unless you have been living under a rock ;)

Looks like a Spyder to me. I sent the pic to Abby at NCIS to clean it up, figure out plate number, road signs etc. Bob, you can pick up the results at NCIS LA, since you are in the neighbourhood.

It's not a real trike! It's a Goldwing with a Tow-Pac Insta Trike conversion. The conversion adds two wheels to the rear. The bike rear wheel and saddle bags stay in place which is why the add on wheels are so far apart. Look at the top of the trunk. See that raised portion, the hump? That's the top part of the passenger back rest on a GL1800. The top of the Spyder trunk is more or less flat, not humped like what you see in the pic.

I road my spyder all week, we have had no temperature above 10 degrees f and 20 to 40 below wind chill with 4 in. of snow. Just dress warm and ride, you learn how to to ride when it is slippery and you learn your bike. And I'm 62 and loving every minute of it!

Spyder?

I may have been under a rock but my head wasn't stuck up my butt!!
The rear lights are mounted halfway up the fenders and the shape is not right.
Just my opinion and everyone knows about them.
Sorry about the little rant

Well in the end the person that posted this said it was a Spyder. I really cannot fully tell. I will admit it doesn't quite have the proper shape. To me it looks like one but I don't really know what the rear profile of a GW trike looks like? I have only ever seen one in my life.

Bottom line, that dude is nuts!

Bob

Spyder

I agree. I have a Goldwing Trike sitting in my building and it looks similar to the Nut.
Someone will track down his identity and make of his trike.
Ride safe and have a nice day!

I agree, it is an accident waiting to happen. I have never seen this in Quebec, and we love winter motor Sports!
