• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bob

don't know his/her name, but idiot would be totally appropriate!!!!!!!

On second look comparing the pics, it does not look :spyder2: to me. Based on tail light configuration and size of lights on fenders.

If the poster on Facebook said it was a :ani29:, who am I to doubt or question? :roflblack:

It is some kind of trike/roadster. It is being driven in pretty sketchy weather. And I still would not do it.

And after looking at it some more I'm now not 100% convinced it's a 'wing! But I am 100% sure it is not a Spyder!

After looking at the picture closer does look like some sort of trike.

Have seen this picture before though. It's in the dictionary next to IDIOT:roflblack:

OK, since this thread is still going, where does the amber light come from? Anything light towards the rear should be red according to DOT. So is this a turn signal, which would also explain the three red lights just on that side. And, if that is not the case why do the rear lights not match up?

I haven't rode in weather like that on the Interstate, but I have ridden on the side roads a few times snowing and temps down to 10 F.

I wondered about the amber light too. Maybe it and the extra red lights are reflections from the headlight of the car following? I know there are times when light is shining just right that red lens appear to show yellowish color. But it very well could be a turn signal light.

What I thought was a hump on the trunk could be a gray/silver band on the back of his jacket. It looks too wide to be the hump on a 'wing trunk. What bikes besides GL1800 have large high tail lights right on the back of the trunk? And if, as I first thought, it was a 'wing with a Tow-Pac conversion we should be seeing large taillights down low on the back of the saddlebags, and we don't. I'm still inclined to think it's a bike with a conversion because it looks like there is a bike rear tire in the middle.

To those who think this whole speculation game is silly, you're right! But we need a useless diversion once in awhile just for a change of pace!

Maybe the guy was going to pass the truck _ Turn signal??

this will be figured out eventually . Maybe the guy got caught out while riding? Whatever he is braver than I am!! Of course if he was caught out who knows what any of us would do in those circumstances.

In the whole picture, there are two lanes to the left, a line of unplowed/undriven on snow, then our brave rider.

IMO, the car ahead of the semi has it's left turn-signal on and the trike has his signals on too to merge into traffic up the road. As far as the yellow light, maybe he did his own light set-up?
