• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front tires for RS

SPYD1

I have about 11K mikes and am seeing some wear on the inside of the tread. Now that everyone has been riding aftermarket tires for some time what is the tire to go with. I really just want to take the rims to a tire dealer without having to move my fenders, as I saw on other threads. Non directional? Or should I stay with the OEMs? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I bought falken 512 in 175 instead of 165 and installed at Discount tire without any modification to fenders.
I did have to hold the fender open slightly while they remounted the wheels but there wasn't much stress on fenders. They just didn't want the liability.

I got 4500 miles on them but I never like them. Spyder felt taller, ride felt harsh. And handling didn't improve.
I would go back to kenda next time, at least on front unless something stickier is available in 175.
But there are plenty that are happy with aftermarket fronts.

By the way, if you rotate them they might last another 11k.
I had same problem like a lot of ryders and paid $20 to rotate them and they felt pretty good and got a lot more out of them.
