• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front tire pressure

Was just wondering what other F3 owners are running for front tire pressure on the stock tires. The manual recomends 15 to 17 like my old RS which I always thought was to soft. I ran the RS at 19 and was very happy with it and am thinking I will bump the F3 up as well.

The other issue I ran into that was similar to the RS was the preload. the F3 is fine when riding alone but I get the kind of mushy feeling going through corners in front when the wife is with me. Fixed it on the RS by upping the pre load to the max setting and then getting the elkas so am thinking I just need to up the pre load on the F3 to clear this up. I do have the BajaRon anti seay bar.

I have an F3-S. I run front - 25 psi; rear - 35 psi. Installed stock RT sway bar (about 40% more torsional resistance and way less expensive). Solid metal heim joint set to replace the stock plastic ones. I also replaced the shocks with the BRP-offered Fox upgrades. Rides super. Pushing hard into and through the twisties felt like the back tire would drift or break loose. Had the front end aligned this past week while in Deadwood and talked to Mike about steering geometry and effects on handling. I'm one happy camper!

Mike stated he had sold about 120 of his laser alignment systems to dealers and special services providers whom can also provide the alignment.

I have bumped up the preload a bit and when I checked the air pressure the dealer had it set at 20lbs so I raised it to 22. That helped a lot and got rid of the mushy feeling when riding 2 up in the corners. Think I will try 25 up front as most of my riding is on back roads with lots of tight corners.

I do have the better Fox shocks all around and the BajaRon sway bar.

Thanks for the feedback!!
