• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Tire Bounce

I am not familiar with the term "I Force". Could it be the same a "Road Force"? I was having some vibration from the rear tires of my GL trike. Tires were new. Had them Road Force balanced and all is now good up to 100+ MPH. I'm trying to wrap my mind around why vehicle weight would make a difference in performance of balanced/unbalanced tires.....? Seems to me if a tire is out of balance, it would be felt more under a lighter load.....? Jim

When I had the Federals installed on the front, I asked for Road Force balancing and what I wrote is what they told me. The place I go to is very experienced, so I took them at their word and got a conventional spin balance on a new machine. BTW, the Federals only needed 1/2 ounce each and are silky smooth at all speeds.

So the tires were " SPUN BALANCED " ...... nuf said ......" Tires " and what they did and didn't or couldn't do was part of my job as an LEO, my training didn't include knowing How every " high speed tire balancing machine worked " ....because frankly it didn't matter.. Mike
