• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Shocks on 2016 F3-T

On my 2008 GS we changed the front shocks to the shocks from the RT. The thinking was that they where set up for a heavier Spyder. This worked great! The handling on the GS went from mushy to being on rails, never needed to go to a different Sway bar.

Now has anyone thought of changing the F3-T's shocks to the RT's ?? (Would they even fit?) Just wondering. Its was a lot less expensive than changing to Elkas or the like.

I am putting the RT sway bar on my F3 this weekend. I am hoping this will give me the handling that I had on my GS. So far I have had 2 nanny interventions on cornering that on the GS would have been fine. I love the F3-T SE6, but I the handling in turns is a disappointment, I thought the nanny was supposed have been tuned down on the F3, for a more aggressive ride. (I rode the GS for 5 years so I am not new to the Spyder ride.)

Update ->

Got the RT 2015 swaybar installed ($77 shipped). Had to open up the bushings to 5/8 Dia. (recommend buying the bushings).

BIG IMPROVEMENT! Will adjust the front shocks next. ( why didn't BRP have the Detents on the shocks like before) going to try moving it up 1/2 inch to start.
