I have a 2010 Spyder RT-S SE5 Model
Has anyone made and replaced the metal grills at the front of the Spyder where the Oil and Water radiator are located
The existing grills don't look that strong and would look better with Stainless Steel Perforated sheets
On my BMW K100LT I replaced the standard Radiator cover + A lower spoiler cover with a polished Stainless Steel Perforated sheets which had 3mm holes in it
This did not allow any debris to get pass and in fact the BMW ran cooler as the air was being forced in under more pressure
I Think 5mm holes in Perforated Stainless Steel Sheet would look so much better and would improve the front end appearence esp with the Stainless Steel being polished and the holes being a simular size to the existing metal guard would not affect the cooling system
Any know how easy is to remove the Plastic tupperware (Plastic surround) from the existing Grills so I can replace with Stainless Steel Perforated sheets
Any guidance would be helpful
I have posted some pictures of my old BMW K100LT to show the Polished Stainless Steel sheets in place
