• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FRONT FENDER LED'S FOR ST-S

I am thinking of ordering a set of front fender LED's from Tricled for my ST-S. If anyone has installed them, I have a couple of questions. Does the installation of the lights require removal of the wheels to get up under the fenders? If so, what size metric socket is required to remove the wheel lugs? I looked it up in the parts manual and it says the lugs are M12 x 1.5. I have a set of metric socket wrenches but the highest # I have is 19 MM and it is too small. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!VisitedStatesMap.jpeg

FENDER LIGHTS

Thanks. I asked Tricled to email the instructions and, yes, the wheels do need to be removed.

They say the first thing that goes is the memory and I guess mine is gone. I even asked the chief mechanic if we took them off and he said no. Anyway wheels off or wheels on it is an easy install.

[ 1 ].... Yes if you live the spyder on the ground it is easy'er to brake the lugs first then put it up on a jack [ with stands under the A-arms.
[ 2 ].... I used a 13/16 or 21mm socket, and they are very hard to brake loose the first time BRP puts lock tight on everything.

Note Tricled has finder light that you put on top in the center of the finder { That's way you see some of them saying you don't half to remove the finder. But for the Spyder 2013 ST you'll half to remove the finder. WE had a 2010 RT-SE 5 and now a 2011 RS-SE5 and a 2013 ST-SE 5 I have all kinds of lights on all three.

Why not remove the fenders? Then work on installing the LEDs easier. Although removing the 4 bolts holding the fenders on we're a bear to break loose. BRP does use a LOT if thread locker!
