• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Freeway Jumper < His Latest Jump Didn't Go So Well

As a budding young motocrosser back in the late 70's, I learned that lesson well, If you wanna play, you're gonna pay.... May he recover and find another "hurdle".....

Sorry to hear....

But it is part of the game...hope he re-coops with no permanent damage and re-considers his life style....:dontknow: what are the odds.....

I'm finding it tough to feel sorry for this self-inflicted idiot...

 ... and that kind of bothers me.

He's pulling off these foolish stunts for no other reason, than self-promotion on the internet.
It encourages other less-talented riders to put themselves in harm's way. nojoke
So I'm kind of glad that he's got to lay still for a while, and think about what he's done...

Somehow: that doesn't comfort me... :dontknow:

Or perhaps

he's a less talented rider - attempting to emulate someone else. As seemingly noted in the video.

As the old saying goes.

It's not the chances we take it's the choices we make.

Which might be even worse ... since stupidity tends to flow downhill: some even LESS-talented nit-wit is bound to get crushed in a foolish display of self-abuse... :banghead:

The insurance guy inside me just doesn't like intentional stupidity...

Yes, you can watch it on YouTube.

I hope he fully recovers. If he wants to continue stunts, go ahead as long as no other lives are put in danger. I like to watch those performing on the edge. To each his own.

Wyliec, I'm not sure?

I thought he meant does the link you provided allow it to be watched on YouTube.

His first jump was a Facebook post and the link in this post is to a news channel report/opinion piece. It's likely on You Tube by now. In some form. :roflblack:

To paraphrase an old adage from the flying world, "There are old riders, and there are bold riders, but there are no old bold riders."
