• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FOX Shocks

Does anyone know if the Fox Shocks that are standard on the 2014 ST are compatible with the 2011 RSS? My dealer says no, but I don't have a lot of confidence in them, to be honest. They may be right, but I don't want to pass up a deal on a set of the Fox Shocks. Thanks for your help.

I dont know about Fox Shocks but I do know that the Elka's springs are the same for the ST and the RS. The shocks look the same but Elka charges more for the ST then the RS so maybe the guts are different but the springs stock numbers are exactly the same,

I have a set of Fox shocks that were "take offs " of a 13 Rt Demo at the dealer because they would not fit correctly. They fit all '10 through '12 models. Not the 13 and I would think it would be the same for the '14 as it is the same frame as the '13. Not sure what this means for the ST. I guess a good measurement could tell you.

I appreciate the feedback. Wouldn't I have to remove one of the stock shocks to find out the non-compressed length and compare it to the Fox? The Fox is 18" center to center. There is also another measurement for the Fox of 5.7" (145mm). What does that refer to? Forgive the ignorance.
