• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found this great DEAL on Craigs List - 2010 RT AC - $9,500

I just contacted the seller to find out.
If it is $9,500 I will go get it and flip it here in So. Cali. Washington UT is a 6 hour rider for me.

I saw a 2010 RT AC with 20K miles on it going for $16K and it got sold so this might be an easy flip!

The ad says it's a RT A/C?? If it is they added the fog lights. Sometimes things are not as they appear.:lecturef_smilie:

So, has anyone visited the ad site and tried to make a deal with the seller, find out where the spyder is to go see it, or verified the price is actually $9,500. :bbq:To me it sounds about $5,000 less than it should be for starters.

The Audio and Convenience models didn't come with foglights as standard equipment in 2010.
It's an A&C model; the front wings are black... They were chrome on the RTS models...

It wouldn't hurt to check it our, but I'll bet it's a scam. My bro responded to a Craiglist ad for a VTX and ended up in an ongoing exchange with a "widow" in Europe and if he'd pay for the bike and give her the address she'd have it shipped to him from Ohio.

Never, Never, NEVER!

Never give any money to someone to ship a bike that you haven't seen or even to hold it!!! If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.:lecturef_smilie: Even if they give you instructions for an "escrow" account that "won't be disbursed until you get the bike and approve it." These are almost always a fraud. Don't open your wallet until you can put your hands on it. I'm a Certified Fraud Examiner and I've seen these scams more times than I can count. Amazes me that people still fall for them - just because they think they are going to get "the deal of the century." :gaah:

I'll bet there will be some reason why you can't come and look at the bike. "I work out of town, leaving my wife alone, etc" "Afraid of meeting someone from internet, been robbed before, etc." And you need to send the money right away because "I've been getting calls on it like crazy and it's going to be sold by tomorrow I'm sure." :lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie:

I will let you know if I get a run around. I Emailed the seller. Not my first rodeo on Craig's list or Ebay.

So far no email back but it has only been a few hours.
