• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

About 9am I hear what I thought was a bike pulling up my driveway. Couldn't be a bike though because it was 22 degrees out and I'm the only one I know around here that would go for a ride in the 20's

Well it wasn't a bike and I'm not the only one now. My neighbor down the road just bought a Spyder for the wife {where have I heard that before} and he just had to show me "her" new toy. :2thumbs:

That's ironic, I bought one for myself, and my wife dosn't want it either... from me or the Spyder...
Lonely Spyder,

I decided to get a set of snow mobile cloths, so I can go out to ride it under 35 degrees.

Cheaper just to buy a heated jacket liner ($161) - I was out today at 35 degrees with just a long sleeve cotton t-shirt and my heated Synergy. You don't even need the quilted liner from a cortech jacket. Today I did a pair of Patagonia thermals under my overpants and was toasty warm - couldn't even use the jacket on high - had to run medium or low at 70 mph. I do use Gerbing heated gloves, too, but still cheaper than starting all over with snowmobile clothes. This way I get three seasons out of my cortech jackets.

Just my .02

OH YA!!!!

WHEN I RODE TO WORK IT WAS 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO AND ALL I WAS WEARING WAS CHAPS .... TOOK ME 3 HOURS TO PRY MY A$$ OFF THE SEAT .... I'LL SPARE YOU GUYS THE PICTURES....:D:D:D:D

When my uncle was in flight training in Louisiana in WWII, he rode his Indian home to see his girlfriend, soon to be his wife. He wore his leather flight suit and gloves, with the sheep wool shearling lining. Ended up in a fierce ice storm from Illinois to Michigan. They had to literally pry him off the bike, because his hands froze to the handlebars. We are all spoiled rotten...or just not enough in love to keep quiet. :)

Thats true my friend, but while most seem to be saying they will be putting their :spyder:up for the winter I'll be booking in the Lagunas. Hopefully it won't burn down again this year.

Down to about 75 here in San Diego. BURRRRRRRRRRRRR.
That is just not right was still able to squeeze in about 70 miles 2 day and was only about 38 degrees for the high still not plugged in checkin out HDX gerbin :cus: if he ever puts that stuff down I will have to borrow it:2thumbs:

We have all 4 seasons in 24hrs this time of year. Spring morning, summer afternoon, fall evening and winter nights.

You guys are hard core riders. Big thumbs up to you guys.:2thumbs: I don't think I could handle riding in the twenties or thirties temperature. I wish I could but I am too sensitive to cold weather. I might get hypothermic. I wish I could be an all around season rider like you guys. I could still handle the fifties temperature here in Reno so far. Enjoy your rides.
