• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Forum Negativity

OK, BRP is an evil monster that makes products that we buy, then make us profoundly disappointed.
And at every turn we must make sure our opinion is heard.

I am so tired of the negativity.

Of course it won't change.

What I really don't understand is why people, affluent people, keep a product they are so dissatisfied with.

If I found a major purchase so lacking, then why would I keep it around?
I guess I would keep it if I liked to bitch.

Some folks just cannot enjoy being happy... nojoke
They revel in their miserable situation: wallowing in the circumstances, that they could often easily change.
I feel rather sorry for them.

 Oh crap!
I just realized that I'm not miserable! :gaah:
This is a HORRIBLE turn of events, and I don't know who to blame for all of the happiness! :banghead:
Can I blame BRP?

I wouldn't expect anybody to be jumping for joy; if something busts... nojoke
But if you can fix it: do so, and move on to doing something that makes you happy. ;)

Hear you loud and clear......

But as far as how I choose to see life...it is with a huge heart of gratefulness and a huge dose of thank you I'm blessed. Is everything in my life just the way I want it....absolutely not but attitude toward the situations of life is what controls my altitude and I choose the positive :thumbup:....me I just let those naysayers have their say and kinda feel sad for them...:yikes:

We always have some bad with the good on the forum. The negativity seems to outweigh the praise. Those who are mostly cheerleaders even get criticized a lot. Go figure. :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

Me, I have had five :spyder2:'s now. Been with the product since I bought the first one for sale in Alaska. Have continued with the product and well over 100,000 miles with the brand.

There have been a couple mechanical glitches--but all were eventually fixed by the dealer. Dealer service has gone from good to bad--don't know where it is headed for the future.

It could be better--but, it could be worse. I will continue to drive our :ani29:'s this year--and then see what happens. I am thinking that if I bail, it will be because of health issues, and not because of bad :spyder2:.

I have not always been BRP's best friend. I consider myself to be a bit of a Consumer Advocate and I have been known to call a spade a spade. The forum members almost run me out of here when in 2013 I dared to say that there appeared to be heat issues with the highly touted 2013's. There was. I was right. I survived.

I have a bit of a problem with those that come on for the sole purpose of bashing the brand or BRP in particular. Its pretty obvious when this happens and the person is a very new poster. Then, we have good customers and long time members who have issues they have never encountered before. This is where being helpful and trying to help the person involved get the problem solved comes in.

We have a mixed bag, but it is what it is. I still stick around. Enjoy everything I read, and glad to chime in a bit.

See you in another thread.

So right...

Sadly BRP sells a product comprised of parts made all over the world by a multitude of companies. Unfortunately when one part fails...guess who they go after. Who's ever name is on the product...but in the end it fall in the same catagory of the news....good news doesn't sell..:banghead: how many of the happy customers show their appreciation of the product....:dontknow:

Or, like my Pa taught me when things didn't go as planned . . "It builds character." and "That makes life interesting!"

I maintain that's why I'm an interesting character! :roflblack::ohyea::roflblack:
