• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For those of you who are interested...An update.

It is good to have a site like SL to help pass some time when unable to get out and ride.

Hang in there OJ and John.

4 years ago I had a stroke n I have not recuperate 100% yet! Had to give up my two wheeler because my equilibrium was afected. Today I'm blessed to be alive, and riding my rt.
I hope you heal well, and fast! Sometimes a detour in our plans, is the best thing that could ever happen to us!

Sorry to hear

Hope that you're feeling better day by day and it won't be too long before you're able to get out and about again. And able to post some more of your photos!

It has to be said that this is going to take a while....but I reckon that in six weeks I'll be able to ride without risking any repercussions.
I'll be able to drive my car in around a month. My dressings are being changed on a daily basis and the nurse says that the wound is healing nicely.
Yes I know that many of you enjoy my Merrie Englande series of photographs and they are set to continue...but as I have been
reminded: Baby steps!

I wish we could all come over and cheer you up. How many people will your place hold? ;)

Four years ago I had 10.5" of the lower Bowel removed with the same type of incision you described. As it turned out it was the best thing ever, should have had it done 8 or 9 years earlier. At 6 weeks I was able to start some activities (Spyder Riding) when 6 months passed I almost forgot that it even happened.

Good luck with your recovery, by mid summer you should be good as new.
