• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

+for something completly different...

Any recommendations on ride wear, jackets mostly, given the temp swings here, -20 - 100+ fahrenheit; is there anything that I can use year round without buying multiple outfits?

I doubt that anything will cover a temperature range of -20 to +100. Even the multi-layered tech stuff has its limits, and there isn't enough layering in the world to deal with temps that low. Your face will tend to freeze, for one thing. If you can only have one riding outfit, I'd choose one of the newest mesh jackets/pants, with both a rain liner and a quilted liner. I'd supplement that with a heated jacket liner and possibly pants/socks for cold days...although a one-piece winter suit like the FirstGear would be a better and cheaper choice. I don't see any way out of having multiple pairs of gloves for that kind of temperature range.

Check out the Sliders line from competition accesesories the the mesh jacket has Kevlar & armor with a 2 stage liner 1 for rain the next stage thermo both liner fold compact the mesh is large and flows a lot of air Kevlar and ce armor in back and shoulders lots of pockets then the 2 stage liner system 149 to 179 one jacket does it all I love mine they size a little small so order up size a little so you will have room for extra layers if needed

TourMaster's mesh jackets come with an insulating liner and a water-resistant outer shell that can be added to the mesh. It sure seems like a versatile setup!
But I'm not sure that anything could adequately cover the wide range of conditions that you're getting...

10 degrees above zero is about the lowest I will now ride to be in my "comfort range". Even with heated gear, any exposed skin gets pretty cold fast.

I actually did ride my Yamaha 90cc when it was -10 degrees--now that was cold. No exotic gear back in 1966.

Recommend Firstgear textiles with liners for all around use. Layer up underneath for colder weather.

:agree: Firstgear's got the bottom end of the temperature scale covered. BajaRon can set you up with what you'll need!
