Been using them for years...

They are Allen head caps. Originally designed to keep water out which will pool and rust...you can get them most auto or hardware in chrome, black or rubber and many fit torx heads as well...:thumbup:

Ace Hwd, True Value Hwd, Auto Zone
Quest auto parts & many more.
I use them all the time
helpful hint... put a small dab of
Silicone from a tube in the hole first because
they will vibrate out The silicone will hold them in place
but they will still be easy to remove
